When you want to create a menu in a WordPress site, with sub-menus, it can be useful to create non-clickable menu items.
- Log into your WordPress dashboard
- Click on Appearance -> Menus
- Click on Custom Links
- In the URL field, add #
- In the Link Text field, add the title of your menu item that will be displayed
- Click on Add to Menu
- Click on your new menu item
- Remove the # from the URL field and click Save Menu
